Be on time

One of the best ways to make a great first impression is by demonstrating respect for the other person or people you are meeting. One way to do that is by being on time. Being late during your very first meeting with someone will paint the image of somebody who's irresponsible and couldn't be bothered to leave a little earlier. It shows a lack of respect and foresight. Do your due diligence by checking out your route and making sure to arrive a few minutes early.

Baked potato

Perhaps the easiest way to cook potatoes is to do it in the oven. It requires three ingredients, and takes almost no active time.

Baked potatoes are best with a big, starchy potato, like a russet. Scrub your potatoes to get excess dirt off and preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Grab a fork and stab the potatoes about ten times all over to let steam escape. Then place the potatoes in a bowl and coat with oil, tossing to make sure every bit is covered. Remove your potatoes and place onto a foil lined baking sheet, then sprinkle with salt.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and let bake for an hour, or until the skin is crispy and the inside feels soft and tender. Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy. Serve with plenty of butter, sour cream, green onions, or whatever else tickles your fancy. The beauty of potatoes is their versatility.

Exercise and a healthy diet

The best way to stay strong at any age is to stay active and take care of your body. Maintaining a healthy body weight while aging is key to keeping your body in the best shape possible. Taking part in exercise that you enjoy can also be a great way to relieve stress and meet new people. Exercising regularly will lower your risk of injuries, such as a fall, by working to maintain strength and flexibility in your muscles.

Eat a Healthy Diet

If your diet consists of fast food, sugary drinks, and desserts, you tend to get higher cholesterol. Eating healthy is important for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol.

Skip unhealthy fatty foods and start eating foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Foods rich in omega-3 fatty foods include salmon, mackerel, tuna, soybean oil, flaxseeds, and chia seeds. Don't skip fats altogether because they are vital for the body as they perform important body functions.

Make an Open First Box

The ‘open first’ box should include things that you will need right away after moving out. Pack your tooth-brush, soap, favorite mug, a book that you are reading, and night suit individually and put them in this box. You don’t want to be opening every box to look for these items, right?

Sharing with a Confidant

Talking about your feelings with a trusted confidant can be beneficial. The experience of speaking is extremely helpful in lowering the intensity. When we say things out loud, we often answer our own questions, but this experience of connection and relationship generally relaxes us.

Talking about things can help resolve frustration with our primary relationships, such as family and close friends. Often talking to a good friend that you trust 'will keep you in the vault' can be helpful. You can vent to a therapist.

Do not eat 4 hours before sleeping

Your muscle movement slows down while you sleep. Therefore, your metabolism rate decreases at night as well. If you have a habit of eating a bedtime snack, stop right away as it takes longer for your body to digest at night. Eat in the morning as your body is the most active then. The breakfast will provide the energy you need to go about your routine activities.

Whenever I crave chocolate at night, I resist it till the morning. After that, I take a piece or two with my breakfast and go about the day.Do not eat 4 hours before sleeping

Keep the Room Clean and Organized

Decorating your room won’t work if the problem with your room is clutter. A clean and organized room with no clothes or stationery lying on the floor, bed, and side-table can look beautiful. The basic step of decorating your room is getting rid of clutter. If you have a table, couch, or any other piece of furniture that you don’t need, get rid of it. If you are decorating the living room, stick to the essentials, and put the stuff you don’t need in the attic or storeroom, or you can donate it.
