Don't pass your tan limit

While it may be tempting to sit out in the sun all day to get as tan as possible, this can actually cause sun damage to your skin. It can also increase your risk of getting skin cancer. Most people have a limit to how much melanin they can produce in one day. After about two or three hours of tanning, most people have reached their limit for the day. Staying outside longer than three hours can cause sunburn and opens the door to some scary diseases.

Do not skip exercise

With physical therapists canceling appointments and gyms closing, it gets easy to neglect your physical well-being. This could leave your muscles stiff and you might gain those extra pounds too. Do not skip exercise and stretching, even if you are quarantined at your home.

You can find numerous exercise and workout videos at home. You can encourage your partner or children to do the same to double the fun. Yes, we all want to relax and watch Netflix but exercising is an excellent way to increase the happy endorphins in your body. Do not skip exercise

Bake it in the oven

Tofu can be a great substitute for meat in your cooking. You only have to figure out what your favorite method for cooking it is. One of the easiest ways to prepare tofu is by baking it in the oven. Take your tofu and drain it in the sink. After draining, press the tofu with paper towels. Some people like pressing it with a heavy book for 20 minutes. Then, soak it in your desired seasoning and chop it into 1-inch chunks. Finally, place them on a baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees until they're browned.

Re-organize Your Closet

If you have clothes lying around your room and your closet needs some re-organization, why not kill time doing it? You might find many stylish items that you have not been using lately.

Make a list of clothing items you would like to buy. Pack things you don’t wear anymore or can’t fit into and donate them.

DIY Masks

If you want to use a more natural approach to exfoliation, make a DIY facemask at home from scratch. A face wash needs to be coarse and exfoliating therefore you need ingredients that are a bit harsh for the skin such as sugar, cinnamon, coffee grounds, and oatmeal.

When you have selected an exfoliating ingredient, it's time to pair it with something that gives it a thin consistency so that the face mask is easy to apply.

Honey and cinnamon or honey and coffee mask go very well together. Oatmeal and sugar masks for exfoliation can go well with baking soda, turmeric, and some milk to soften the mixture. Don’t be afraid to experiment with the ingredients.

DIY Masks

Make an exfoliating mask with what you can find in your pantry. However, be careful with the turmeric as a lot of it can make you yellow or orange for the day.

Home Dye

The first thing you need to do before thinking of dying your hair is washing it 24 or 48 hours before you apply the dye. This will allow the dye to bind naturally with your hair. Then start by picking the color you want, brush your hair, gather the necessary tools. And then do the strand test to assess the result on your hair. Afterward, you want to apply the color, add some heat, and rinse it.Home Dye

Ice your pain

One of the best ways to relieve tension in your neck is by using ice to help reduce any swelling that may be causing you pain. If you think you may be stiff from an injury, use ice for the first 24-48 hours after you being feeling pain. Use a towel or napkin to cover the ice pack so that you don’t irritate your skin. If you don’t have an ice pack, put some ice cubes in a ziplock bag.

Bust your stress

Stress can cause hormonal imbalance, which could increase the production of cortisol in your body. Cortisol regulates your body's appetite. Researchers have linked abnormal levels of cortisol in people with a disorderly eating pattern. Disorderly eating patterns could disrupt your metabolism. Stress also adversely affects the quality of your sleep, which in turn adversely affects metabolism.
