Pass the Exam and Apply
There are obviously some requirements before you can obtain a real estate license. Apart from the education prerequisites, you need to pass a state licensing exam. Once you're able to pass that, you're on your way to filling out a license application. You'll have to submit a fee, undergo a background check, have E&O insurance (not required everywhere), and be of age. Once you submit the application, it'll take about a month or two to obtain the license.
