Best Ways to Thaw a frozen turkey

Cold Water Thawing

The quickest way to thaw your frozen turkey is to use a handy bucket of cold water. Place your turkey in a cold water container breast side down. There should be enough water to cover the turkey completely. If you don't have a utensil big enough for the turkey, just turn the turkey over after 30 minutes, but, this will take twice as much time. Multiply the weight of the turkey in-lbs. with 30 to find out how many minutes it'll take for the turkey to thaw completely.
