If carbs are your primary food source, you should cut down on carbs. Meals made with rice, wheat and all-purpose flour are your worst enemy if you are bloated. Carbs hold more water in your body and causes bloating.
To get rid of bloating, you should eat vegetables and fruits that don’t cause bloating. Eat your meals mindfully and watch your portions. Overeating can also cause belly bloat because food that your body doesn’t need and enters your body causes bloating.
Ginger and lemon are nature’s best detoxifier and helps with debloating. You can have ginger tea once or twice a day. Or, you can make ginger and lemon water at the start of the day and have a few sips of it every hour. You can even try a smoothie that has ginger in it.
Surya namaskar is a yoga routine that is best effective when done at sunrise. Here’s the flow: Tadasana (Mountain Pose), Uttanasana (Forward Fold), Ardha Uttanasana (Half Standing Forward Fold), Chaturanga (Lower slowly down from plank), Cobra or Upward Facing Dog (Gives you energy), Downward Facing Dog, Uttanasana, then Tadasana. Start with 1 or 2 cycles and eventually increase it to 5-10 times in the morning. It helps in debloating and makes you more energetic for the day.
