The only way to get a six pack is through hard work. You will need to exercise your abs enough that they protrude just past your torso, and get yourself to a low enough body fat percentage that they actually start to show.
Try doing crunches to build muscle specifically in your abdomen. Building the habit of doing 50 crunches per day is a great start, and once you get comfortable doing that, you can work your way up from there.
You can also do variations on your crunches. Try lying on your back while lifting your legs straight up into the air, then doing crunches in that position. Try lifting your knees up to meet your elbows to do bicycle crunches. Variations make the exercise more dynamic and helps to work different parts of your body.
Clothes are probably the most noticeable clutter you will find in a room. If you are lazy when it comes to arranging the clothes in your closet and dresser, when you bring the clothes into your room, arrange them in the drawer right away. If you threw the clothes on the chair thinking I’ll do it when I’m free, they will probably be lying there for a week. Take a moment to arrange the clothes in your drawer and everything will stay in its place. No more clothes crawling in the room!
This one sounds almost impossible, but it can be so beneficial for your hair. Giving your lovely tresses a break from heat styling can help minimize the amount of damage you inflict on your hair. Using heat daily can increase breakage and split ends. Instead of using a straightener or curling iron, try using a hair dryer. Instead of direct heat, blow dryers style your hair through air flow. This makes them much less damaging to your hair. It's a first step towards using less heat in your routine.
There’s nothing better than a good sleep to sober you up. Proper sleep will allow you the rest and recovery that you need. It restores your body’s ability to kick alcohol out of the system. Your liver will also be better able to metabolize the alcohol. The better and longer your sleep, the soberer you will feel.
A basic rule of making the room look taller is going for a darker color on the floor and a lighter color on ceilings and walls. For example, if you are going for a grey theme, and the carpets will be charcoal or dark grey, apply a lighter shade of grey or off white on the walls. If you like, you can paint the accent wall medium grey and the rest of the walls can be white. Creating a light and dark color contrast highlights everything else that you add to the room such as curtains, furniture, bedsheets, and wall paintings.
When you are working or cleaning the house, it’s a cold day, or you’re sick and you don’t have much time to cook, make chicken noodle soup on slow cook. Organic or pasture-raised chicken can be tastier in soups when slow-cooked.
In a large pot, add boneless and skinless chicken pieces, chopped onions, celery, carrots, and 2 cups of water. For flavoring the soup, add a teaspoon of oregano, rosemary, freshly chopped garlic, salt, and some black pepper. Cook for 2 hours on medium to low heat. After two hours, take out the chicken and shred it with a fork. Put the shredded chicken back inside the pot and also add instant noodles.
Let it cook for another 20 minutes and it’s done. The chicken noodle soup is super-delicious and healthy.
Warren Buffet aptly explains – “Compound Interest is the 8th wonder of the world.” You don’t need to be a millionaire to start investing. Start small and watch your wealth grow. Investment comes with some inherent risks, though. Be sure to recognize your risk appetite beforehand. Do some research and be cautious not to get carried away by hearsay.
Investing in equity markets is a high risk, high return game. You invest in stock of a company through an exchange such as the NYSE in the US or the Nasdaq Stockholm in Sweden. When you purchase shares of a company, you become its shareholder entitled to a share in the profits (dividends) of the company, and you also benefit from the price appreciation of the stock.
If you're a beginner, be sure to keep your eyes wide open. Markets can be quite volatile, so seek professional advice.
