With long projects, it can be hard to gauge your process and how much you've really finished. It can also be difficult to hold yourself accountable. A good way to help your process along is to create goals for yourself. You can do this with page count or word count. One of my favorite authors shows her process on social media by documenting whether or not she reaches her 3,000 words a day. It's okay to not make your goals every single day, but it still gives you an idea of where you're at and something to work towards.

An effective way to lose weight quickly is the elimination of carbohydrates from your diet, and replacing them with whole grains. Doing so will satiate you and make you feel less hungry, so you’ll end up consuming fewer calories.

A low-carb diet will promote the utilization of stored fat for energy in absence of carbs. If you introduce complex carbs such as whole grains and maintain a calorie deficit, you’ll have the added advantage of higher fiber which will help you digest the food slowly, making you feel satisfied for longer.

However, be sure to check with your doctor before implementing any radical alterations in your diet.

If you want to express your love, show it through your actions. Help them with the difficult and simple tasks. If the person is cooking a meal, offer to do something that has to be done. Chop the vegetables or stir the soup for them.

If you know something, they don’t, offer to do such tasks for them. For example, if the person is trying to install a program and you know how to do it quickly. Help them or do it for them.

Storytelling has been used as a teaching technique for generations, and while it may sound like a cliché, humans love themselves a good story – good being an important word. The story will engage your students even more if they can relate to it somehow.

A good story taps into your emotions which helps you retain the information delivered through a story. Your students will grasp the concepts more quickly when they are illustrated through a good story. In fact, videos work just as well. Videos are a more complex form of stories that add a visual component to an otherwise voice-only story. 

Use a brush to splatter the paint. If you are going for bigger lines and dots, submerge the brush completely into the paint. For thinner lines and strokes, dip half of it or less. Do not use a very large brush if you are dealing with a small canvas and plan on adding small details. The best thing about paint is that you can always fix your mistakes but if you are a beginner, you might have a hard time fixing them. Use a beginner-safe approach and take one color at a time in smaller quantities to splatter paint.
