Eat the Frog First

Frog in the morning refers to that ugly chore or task that you don’t want to do because you don’t like it or it's too hard. If you can eat the frog first or do the hardest thing first, the rest of the tasks will be easy and won’t be a problem to complete. It can also give you ample time to relax and spend on doing other activities.

Citronella Candles

These candles are a time-tested, natural method to keep bugs away – especially during the night. They are also an excellent addition to your living room or bedroom décor.

Citronella candles create a warm and inviting ambiance for the guests, but not so much for the pests. They'll keep the pesky bugs away so you can have a good night's sleep.

Massage

Ask your partner or friend to give you a neck massage, if you have shoulder and neck tension. Use lavender or your favorite essential oil to relax and elevate your mode as well. Massage in gentle up and down movements or rotatory movements to relieve neck pain. For shoulders, do the finger pressure technique to gently press the pressure points and get the knots to open.

Always use a comfortable spot for a massage. You can sit on a chair with a backrest or lie on your stomach.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal can be done only in-office by a professional. It is permanent and painless but it can be a bit uncomfortable. The dermatologist would use a laser gun to break the hair follicles and remove the hair using a laser-beam gun. The hair removal can be expensive but because it will be permanent or semi-permanent, it is worth the price.

Be Thoughtful

Try to put some thought and care into your Father's Day plans. The most lavish dinner in the world doesn't mean much if it's all your father's least favorite foods. When brainstorming plans and gifts, ask yourself these questions:

What does my father's day look like? Is he introverted or extroverted?

What would make my father's life easier? (Maybe he likes to bake but is always complaining about his mixer?)

What does my father need? (If he's always complaining about his back pains, maybe pay for a massage therapist?)

Is he an adventurous type?

Is there anything noteworthy he has mentioned recently?

Write the answers down along with any other information and try to come up with a plan that is congruent with what you know about him. For example, if your father is a social, but not very adventurous type that likes italian food, invite all of his friends and family over somewhere close by for some pasta.

Understand the Dog’s Favorite Way of Learning

Dogs like to learn new things like babies. An intelligent dog breed can understand up to 250 words you say. The real struggle is how to get a dog to do what you say. Dogs understand the tone of voice and your mood. There are three types of intelligence recognized in dogs that help them learn:

Instinctive:

This type of intelligence is the result of how the dog was bred. If the dog was told not to growl from a young age when the owner told them to stay quiet, the dog’s instinct to stay calm will be developed at an early age.

Adaptive:

The dog learns from the environment and surroundings. For example, the dog will bring her bowl to you when she’s hungry because she was always fed in the bowl and she uses it to signal that she needs food.

Working and Obedience:

Working and obedience are taught to a dog. The dog follows what the owner tells them to do by abiding by what’s being said.

Understanding their intelligence can help you obedience train them effectively while focusing on what is the most effective strategy to train your dog. Teaching the dogs in a way they want to be taught makes the learning process easy and fun for the dog and you.
