Become a Keen Observer

Great things happen to you when you want them to happen. If you want to improve your personality, pay attention to what is happening around you. If you are sitting in the park on a bench and constantly using your phone, you are missing the opportunity to socialize with the person who is sitting on the same bench with you.

Notice the good and bad things happening around you. Listen to others, you will probably have something to learn from them.

Regular Trims

When you want to grow your hair longer, cutting your hair will sound the complete opposite. Not having a haircut in a long while can also result in split ends. Split ends increase the chances of hair breakage at the tips, which can reduce the overall length of your hair. Go to a salon for regular trims to speed up hair growth or you can cut them at home. You can also ask your partner, friend, or family member to chop roughly half an inch of your hair tips.

Say 'thank you'

It's important to be polite when ending a conversation. You don't want to leave abruptly and leave a bad taste in your companion's mouth. Instead of walking away randomly, say thank you and nice to meet you. It's a polite way to thank them for the conversation you've had while also signaling that you're ready to move on. You can also add a hand shake if you'd like. Always be respectful when ending a conversation.

Draw Attention

If you have a bookshelf or a piece of furniture that you love, use wall paint to draw attention towards it. If the furniture piece you want to highlight is light, go for darker wall paint. Similarly, if there are brown book shelves with dark-colored pieces and books, you should select a pastel color or go with white.

You draw attention to something in the room when the walls don’t blur out the existence of that piece.

Draw Attention

Familiarize Yourself

If you are riding with a horse for the first time, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the horse through a touch, pat, or back rub. Just like dogs and cats understand us, the horses are often used to physical affection.

Pat the horse gently on the neck and stay around the animal for a while. Getting on the horse too quickly, will not make much of a difference but spending some time with the horse will let them know who is riding them.

Familiarize Yourself

Get a gift

A gift is a classic way to show your appreciation to someone you care about. It doesn't have to be anything super expensive, just something that you've put some thought into.

You'll have to do a bit of thinking for this part. Try to think about what your dad likes to drink, for starters. A nice bottle of scotch could be quite fitting. If he likes to cook, maybe a new set of oven mitts or a fancy saucepan.

If all else fails, maybe you don't have the funds, a hot meal is a great gift. Treat your father to a fresh, homemade meal on his special day.

Learn a foreign language

The listening and speaking involved in the process of learning a new language and its words stimulate the brain. Not only does learning a new language oil your brain, but it is also an excellent addition to your personality. In fact, a Spanish study published in the Annals of Psychology in October 2014 suggested a close link between a rich vocabulary and a lower risk of cognitive decline.

Give us the background information

When you're writing an essay about a specific subject, you have to make sure you give your readers the context they need to understand what you're writing about. Giving background information at the beginning of the essay will help your argument make more sense to someone who may not be knowledgeable about your topic. It's your job to introduce them to your topic and give them the context they need to follow the points you will be discussing.
