Through System Preferences

The default display refresh rate for Mac is set at 60Hz, and it’s recommended that you keep it unchanged unless you really have a good reason.

For MacBook Pro 16” and after, and the Apple Pro XDR Display, follow these simple steps to alter the display refresh rate:

Step 1: Pull the Apple menu down and select “System Preferences”

Step 2: Select the “Display” tab from the top

Step 3: Hold press the “Option” key and click on the “Scaled” button and this should bring up the Refresh Rate pop-up menu.

Through System Preferences

You can set your built-in Retina display or Pro XDR Display’s refresh rate to 60, 59.94, 50, 48, 47.95 Hz. While a higher refresh rate gives you buttery smooth animations, it taxes your notebook’s battery life and uses more resources.

Withdraw 30 percent of Your Credit Limit

If you have a credit card limit of $10,000 and you withdraw $9,500 you might lose your credit score. Credit utilization refers to the portion of the credit limit that you are using and its percentage affects your credit score.

Aim for 30% utilization of the credit limit if you want to maintain a high credit score. If you want to withdraw higher amounts, apply for a credit card with a higher credit limit.

Add exercise into your routine

Exercise is a great way to improve cholesterol and keep your body moving. Including physical activity in your daily routine can help you lose weight and maintain a normal cholesterol level. You can easily do this by taking a walk in the afternoon or playing sports with a group of friends. Add physical activity to your schedule a few times a week with a doctor's approval.

Avocado Soup

Avocadoes in soups taste delicious. You can make an avocado soup or add avocado chunks to other soups such as chicken corn soup or vegetable soup. If you like to eat avocado chunks, add them when the soup is ready. If you like to blend everything, add them when the soup is cooking and use a handheld soup blender to combine everything.

Learn an instrument

Try using your time in Covid-19 isolation to learn an instrument. Whether you choose guitar, piano, or didgeridoo, there are plenty of online resources (Youtube, Yousician, Skillshare) to get you started.

Learning an instrument is great work for your mind. It strengthens your reading, memory, and communication skills and can help ward off age-related mental decline. It also helps to ease stress and depression. On top of that, there's just nothing better than being able to play your favorite song, or any song for that matter, front to back all by yourself.

Use Fresh Fruits

No desert can beat fresh fruits so why not add them to your cake? For a fresh fruit cake, decide what you would like to have on your cake. Most people like cherries, blueberries, raspberries, pineapple, and strawberries. Find one of them or a combination of them.

Frost a cake nicely with whipped cream for a clean appearance. Put the fruits in the middle, on the edges leaving space empty in the middle or on one side of the cake. You can also add mint leaves to make it even more tempting.
