Microwaves start to smell horrible from time to time if they aren’t cleaned or not cleaned well. To remove the fishy odor from the microwave, dip the regular cleaning towel with lemon or vinegar and wipe the inside of the microwave.
Make sure to use enough lemon juice so that the microwave smells like a fresh lemon. Let the microwave door open to air dry. The lemon or vinegar smells should go away quickly and won’t bother you if you don’t like it, but it will leave the microwave squeaky clean, germ and odor-free.

The coffee ground in the cupboards, drawers, refrigerator, and oven can effectively remove odors.
Soaps smell great and this is why you can use them to scent your closet and clothes. They can also save the money you would spend on buying fragrances. Use leftover pieces of soap for this trick. Dry the soaps for a day and roll them up in tissue papers. Place them inside your clothes to remove the musty closet odor and smell nice when you wear them. You can use different soaps to add different scents to the clothes.
If you have a yucky odor filling the halls of your home, keeping all the windows and doors is only making it worse. Open up the windows to get a current of air flowing through your home. It will get the stale, stinky air moving out of your home. While your windows are open, you can try turning on your ceiling fans to help get the air circulating as well.
Sometimes, there’s no easy way to pinpoint the exact location of the stinky odor that’s making your eyes water. However, the best way to make sure you don’t miss anything is by deep cleaning your whole house. It may seem like a long task, but you can make it more manageable for yourself. Break it up into sections; tackle the upstairs first and then move to the downstairs. You can also do the laundry in between sections. Do whatever makes it easier for you to clean your home.
This idea may sound a bit crazy but it works. To make a room in your house smell nice, find a light bulb that you can reach, it can be a table lamp’s bulb. Clean the bulb and with your hands rub some vanilla extract on the bulb. Do not use too much vanilla extract. Light the bulb when done. The heat from the light bulb will help spread the vanilla scent across the room and make the atmosphere cozy and smell delightful.
