Hang Old Rugs on the Windows

If the windows at your house are large and poorly insulated, you should consider hanging old rugs or blankets on them. Use heavy-duty hooks or two nails on either side of the window. Cut the old blanket or rug to the size of the window you want to insulate. Attach hooks to the ends and hang them. Draw the blinds and there you have it. The window is insulated.

Throw a Tennis Ball or Dryer Ball in Washing Machine

To keep the towels soft and fluffy, toss in an unused tennis ball or a dryer ball in the washing machine when washing your towels. The rotatory and upward motion of the washer will make the ball hit the towels again and again. This hitting will fluff the towels, get rid of wrinkles and reduce the drying time.

Strike a deal

Well, you can’t buy your parents’ approval, of course. But what you can do is trade something they want for something you want.

But what do your parents want from you? Not much, except for you to grow into a responsible adult.

Great, so then you know what you can offer them. Offer to improve your grades in a subject where you lag, offer to help your mother clean the house or cook on weekends, or even offer to spend your pocket money much more responsibly.

Strike a deal

All of these are things your parents would like to see in you. If you are asking for something that is not preposterous, they will probably happily let you do what you want in exchange for these things.

But be careful, if you don’t keep your end of the promise – this can have some unpleasant repercussions.

Physical Contact

Physical contact is always a good idea to strengthen and further your relationship with a female. If you've just become friends, a fist bump is good enough. If you're close friends, you could go for a hug too. However, it is important to note that it's very easy for intentions to be misunderstood. If you're not sure what the girl thinks of you, it's best to stick to a verbal greeting.

Soak your feet

If you’re struggling to cut your nails due to how hard and thick they have become, you may need to soak your feet in water to be able to trim them. Fill a container large enough to fit both of your feet up with enough warm water to cover them. You can add epsom salt or oil to the water if you would like to do so. Soak for about 10-15 minutes and pat your feet dry.

Disable unnecessary startup programs

When you start up your laptop, a bunch of apps are set to automatically start with it. Software manufacturers set their programs to run in the background even though you cannot see any windows open. This may be useful for programs that you use a lot, but not so much if you hardly ever use them. These programs run in the background and take up valuable resources that may result in a slow functioning laptop.

If you want to disable these, just pull up the task manager and head to the start-up tab. Disable the programs you don’t think are necessary. Earlier, this was done by running the ‘msconfig’ utility. So, if you are on Windows 7 or earlier programs, that’s how you can accomplish the same thing.
