The No-Equipment Method
The best way to clean a blind at home is obviously with the use of a vacuum cleaner. Put a soft-bristle brush and set the cleaner to a low-suction setting to remove all the dust. If you don't own a vacuum cleaner, you could instead use a microfiber cloth to wipe them down. If the blinds are vertical, hold them down from the bottom with one hand and wipe them from top to bottom. If you're working with horizontal blinds, you're going to have to work from side to side.
