If the old caulk on the window is ineffective in insulating the window or there are drafts that need to be filled, caulking can help keep the wind and cold out. The wind slides in from these gaps and lowers the temperature of your house, if you plan on caulking in winters, you may not be able to do it on a cold day. Caulking the windows is best done before the arrival of winter because the temperature should be 45 degrees Fahrenheit or higher to cover the drafts. Hence, the best time is a sunny day if it's winter already.
Baking soda is great for removing rust, and as an added bonus, you probably already have plenty in your house.
Mix baking soda with just enough water to make a paste that can nap your tools without it all dripping off. Apply it to the rusted area and let it sit for a couple of hours so it can get to work. Then the tool should be ready to scrub, scrub the rust off with a clean toothbrush or a rag. Rinse all the excess off with some water and dry thoroughly with a towel, otherwise your freshly cleaned tool may rust again.
Bunnies are quite popular as pets. They require nurturing, love and affection so that they can get used to you. Just like any animal, the first time you will meet them they will be reluctant and shy away from you. So, the first step is to sit beside them but don’t touch them, they will come to you if they want to. If you see them approaching you, then put pet them on their cheeks gently. You will be friends with them in no time if you follow this!
If you don’t have the time to run to the grocery store for cleaning supplies, don’t sweat it. You can make your own cleaning solution at home with things you can find in your kitchen. One of the easiest to make contains only vinegar and water. Mix together equal parts of both to create your solution. Use a towel to wipe your mats clean and then let them dry. You can also use dish soap if you dislike the smell of vinegar.
Tomatoes can be frozen for up to 6 months. Wash and dry the tomatoes you want to freeze. Freeze the extra tomatoes in a Ziplock bag. If you’ll need to open the bag, again and again, don’t freeze all of them together because when you’ll open the bag, again and again, the air will get in and form ice. Use several small Ziplock bags and suck out the air before closing the bag.
Frozen tomatoes in a Ziplock bag can be crushed easily with a rolling pin. So, crushing them for recipes will be easy!
