Remember why you're quitting

When you're quitting any vice you're bound to run into problems. The core of all these problems is your own mind.

If you're quitting smoking, it's important to want to quit. Think of all the reasons that you want to quit: your health, the health of the people around you, your breath. Remember those reasons and think of them every time you want a cigarette. Remember that the urge is only temporary and that the health effects will be with you for the rest of your life, for better or for worse.

Try meditating

Meditating can be a great coping mechanism for anxiety. It allows you to look at and examine your negative thoughts and see things from a different perspective.

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position anywhere you feel most at ease. You can put on music or sit in silence, whichever you'd prefer, close your eyes, and try to clear your mind.

Your mind will of course be jumping all over the place, which is natural while you're not getting any outside stimulus. Take each thought, one by one, and examine it completely non-judgmentally. Ask yourself why that thought came into your head and how it helps you. Eventually you'll be more and more comfortable with pushing your negative thoughts to the side, which will help you better control your anxiety.

Spread Awareness

Charity begins at home. If you want to help the environment, it is important to start making an effort for helping the environment. Make healthy changes in your life for the greater good such as reusing plastic containers, buy a hybrid car, or conserve water.

When you are doing something and you want the others to join you, spread the word out. Start a campaign, ask for donations, and search for people who are willing to volunteer.

Spread awareness about environmental issues. In the age of the internet, everything is so much easier than it has ever been. If you want people to understand everything in emotional and intellectual dept, make a short video that provokes them and put it on the internet. Share a story that motivates them. Do something to grab their attention to help save the environment.

Spread Awareness

Get some sweat on

Exercising is a great way to vent your anger and melt the tension. It empties the pent-up energy and keeps you in shape!

A frustrating day at your office, could easily become your most productive day at the gym. But you don’t need a gym membership to vent your anger. Boxing, running, and jogging are also very effective ways to rid yourself of frustration through exercise.

Use a washcloth

If you're feeling discomfort from wax buildup in your ears, resist the urge to grab a cotton swab and try to clean it. Cotton swabs and many other small objects can harm the inside of your ear. Try using a washcloth instead and clean the outside of your ear. Another option is using a few drops of baby oil or hydrogen peroxide to soften the earwax buildup. If you're still feeling discomfort, purchase an ear wax removal kit from your local pharmacy.

Short Startling Statement

Keeping the introduction short and sweet can be extremely powerful. It is hard to explain the gist in just a few sentences. It is also a more creative way of starting an essay and requires some skills. An example for the same:

“No one has perhaps ever felt passionately towards a lead pencil.” – Virginia Wolf

Make any necessary repairs

When you're selling your home, every single detail can influence a potential buyer's decision to put in an offer. Making small repairs can bring your home to the next level in the eyes of potential buyers. Patching up holes in the wall and adding a fresh coat of paint can make your home look sleeker and clean. Fixing squeaky hinges and broken tiles can also make your home look newer than it actually is. Giving your home a face lift is a great way to sell your home faster!
