Garlic and Butter

Salmon with garlic and butter can be made in a single pan with some vegetables. It is the perfect throw together meal that will taste great. The salmon comes out juicy and tender every time.

I make the fish marinade with lemon juice, a few cloves of garlic (minced), black pepper, salt, freshly cut parsley, and olive oil. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Dip the salmon pieces and rub the marinade all over the fish.

I like to eat salmon with asparagus and potatoes. Salmon takes less time to cook than potatoes so I let the potatoes cook in the oven for half an hour. Coat the potatoes with oil/butter and salt. Then, I push the potatoes to the side and lay the asparagus and pieces of salmon. Bake the salmon and asparagus at 200 degrees C for 15 minutes. The skin or the outer side of salmon should be looking golden and brown at the edges. 

Electric Chopper

If you own an electric chopper, cut and remove the outer skin of the onion and use the chopper. You might also have to cut the onions in halves before placing them in the chopper. Read the electric chopper’s instructions manual to get the best results.

Green tea or oolong tea can increase your metabolism to 5%. They help convert some fat that is stored in your body into fatty acids that increase fat burning. Having low calories, these are perfect for weight loss and maintenance.

However, their effect may be small or only to some people due to not to much effect on your metabolism. But combined with some diet and workout plan it can be just that one thing to boost your metabolism to the max.

Use treats

It’s important that you positively reinforce the puppy when he is introduced to new experiences. You want your puppy to associate new experiences with something good, which is getting treats. If your pup barks at other dogs or puppies, use a firm voice and say ‘NO’, and try to distract him from the situation. If your pup does not bark the next time (or the time after), give him a treat and lots of praises. Also, don’t be nervous when you introduce your pup to another dog or even a human. Dogs are good at reading human emotions and will try to imitate them.
