Fundraising events

Do it alone, or with a group of like-minded individuals who are equally enthusiastic about working towards your cause. It could be a sporting event or an art exhibition. When you bring together people at events where they meet in person and interact with each other about your cause, it helps build a community of people who are willing to further your cause.

So, fundraising events are not good only for raising funds, but also for spreading awareness around your cause.

Freeze Stuffed Potatoes

Stuffed potatoes are the perfect comfort food on a day when you don’t want to waste a lot of time in the kitchen. You can bake or cook the potatoes as normal and let them cool down. Brush some oil on the surface of the potato and pack them in individual meal-size air-tight bags or foils. You can freeze them for up to 3 months. When you plan on eating the stuffed potatoes, simply defrost them in the microwave and create something delicious!

Movie Night in Your Backyard

A movie night where you two are chilling and enjoying is the perfect place for a low-key proposal. When you two lie down in your tent and turn on the projector, play the slides with the best and most memorable pictures of you in a slideshow, the last slide should say “Will You Marry Me?” and stay. Kneel down and propose. You can also invite your friends and family to the movie night so they can help capture some amazing photos and double the excitement.

Improve your diet

Everyone knows junk food is not good for health, but if you can’t resist those tasty snacks, here is a good reason: the good bacteria in your body is destroyed by processed food and alcohol, causing an imbalance in your gut’s microbe, leading to inflammation that causes manifestation in your skin.

It’s better to add vitamins and antioxidants to your diet. Focus on bright colored fruits and vegetables, to boost your skin defense against germs and bacteria. Fish is a very good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for smooth and radiant skin.

Don’t Put Pipes on External Walls

Plumbing is an intricate part of your home. It supplies water to your kitchen bathrooms and anywhere water is needed. If you decide to reroute the plumbing of your home without professional help, keep the average temperature of where you live in mind. If the area is colder comparatively, putting the pipes on the outside wall can cause them to freeze. Keep in mind that you might need access in the future, place the pipes within the reach.

In a hot toddy

Grand Marnier is a delicious orange-flavored liqueur and is absolutely divine in hot cocktails, especially a hot toddy. Simply make a hot toddy as you normally would: a mug full of hot water, a squeeze of lemon, a spoonful of honey, and an ounce of bourbon, then add a splash of grand Marnier for a delicious citrusy cold-weather beverage that'll warm you up in an instant. If you'd like, substitute the lemon for an orange for an extra-sweet orange taste. Also add a dash of cinnamon, or a bit of ginger, for aroma and their extra health-boosting qualities.

Regular Push Up

To do a regular push-up, get in a tabletop position and bend your toes while making the back and legs straight. Put your hands shoulder-width apart and start to bend your elbows and lower your torso. This exercise helps work the muscles of your chest, arms, and core.

Organize yourself

If you don’t know what’s on your to-do list, there’s little chance you’ll be able to do those things on time.

Organize your tasks and assign deadlines. Use the calendar app on your phone to remind yourself about things that need to be done by a certain date. Always have a list of things that you need to get done so you eliminate the chances of forgetting anything.

When you're more organized, you'll also be motivated to stay on top of the unfinished tasks on your to-do list.
